PNB was established in Malaysia on 12th August, 2002 as a public limited company and subsequently was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 1st August, 2003.

PNB is essentially an investment holding company with its subsidiaries and associated companies performing the principal activities - production of food solutions based on specialty fats.
