Goodhope Asia Holdings Limited, incorporated in Singapore, is a holding company with investments in the Oils and Fats industry in Indonesia and Malaysia. The Group which has a history in the plantation business since the early 1900s entered Indonesia in 1996. As part of the group of companies of Carson Cumberbatch PLC (a Sri Lankan Conglomerate having other business interest in Breweries, Financial Services and Leisure sectors in South-east Asia.), Goodhope has the inherent know-how and financial backing that lends strength and stability to propel its business into the future.

Goodhope envisages to emerge as a reputed player in the global food industry in the medium to long term, with a presence across the entire edible oils value chain with access to the final consumer.  The Group has put into operation this vision and plans are underway to integrate with the industry value chain through organic growth, strategic alliances, acquisitions and joint ventures.

The subsidiaries, Premium Vegetable Oils and Fats Sdn Bhd, Premium Fats Sdn Bhd and Arani Agro Oil Industries Limited (incorporate in India) together known as Premium Group, is the first step in fulfilling Goodhope’s vision for its Downstream Segment.
