Mr Anandaraj was appointed to the Board on 11 May, 1999, after having served Premium Vegetable Oil for more than a decade in various positions. After seven years as a director of the Company, he was appointed as Executive Director. And in 2008, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director.

A graduate in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas State University, Jonesbro, Arkansas, USA, Anandaraj joined the Cooperative Central Bank and in 1987 as a Credit Officer. He left to join Pooram Leasing Sdn Bhd as its Managing Director. After a short stint in the leasing and hire-purchase enterprise, he left in 1991 to set up a consulting company to provide consultation to the food and beverage industry.

In 1997, he left to join as Executive Director of Astral Panorama Sdn. Bhd., a company involved in manufacturing. Besides, an illustrious professional career, he was also appointed to many professional bodies, including as a council member of the Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a two-year term.
